This video art piece depicts the dream sequence of someone desperately in need of a peaceful escape. The deer, based on the Ceryneian Hind, is meant to represent the often elusive moment of peace the protagonist has been seeking. I attempted to blend animation with footage to demonstrate the unreality of each moment. The deer being not quite of this world emphasises its ethereal and aloof nature.
